TITAN Webinar on Safe and Resilient Infrastructure

EPSRC and DSIT have funded three future Telecoms Hubs and provided additional resources to bring them together in a federated structure, which will help deliver the six core areas identified in the Wireless Infrastructure Strategy.

As global infrastructure becomes more complex and interdependent, the pressure to secure it grows just as rapidly. From satellites orbiting the Earth to submarines navigating the ocean floor, the demand for safe, resilient, and high-performance communication systems is at its peak.

This inaugural TITAN Network of Networks Accelerator Webinar focuses on one of the most urgent industry-wide challenges: how to build and scale secure communications across dynamic and hostile environments, while staying ahead of fast-evolving threats, technologies, and operational demands.

At the heart of this webinar are the following questions:

  • How can we build communication systems that are secure, resilient, and reliable—even in extreme or contested environments like air, sea, land, and space?

  • How do we protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data from interception or disruption, especially in the face of cyber-physical attacks and the emerging risks of the quantum era?

  • What does it take to move beyond lab-based experiments and deploy secure communications technology at a real-world, industry-grade scale?

  • How can we support privacy-preserving, scalable access to sensitive data across distributed, multi-user networks, especially in future internet architectures?

  • What new waveform innovations and technical standards are needed to enable low-latency, high-integrity communications across next-generation non-terrestrial networks (NTNs)?

Attendees will hear directly from researchers and industry leaders, engage in an interactive Q&A and panel session, and follow up through matchmaking calls, project collaboration, and site visit opportunities.
